Featured Firefox Extension: Tweak about:config options with Configuration Mania

Windows/Mac/Linux (Firefox): The Configuration Mania Firefox extension provides a GUI menu for tweaking Firefox's about:config settings.

That means that rather than typing about:config in your address bar and then searching through cryptic config strings, you can just install Configuration Mania and browse through several of the tweaks you'd normally make with about:config in a simple, more human-readable menu interface. From there, you can change the way Firefox handles searches, change visual elements, and a whole lot more. It could use a little more work on the interface, but it does offer straightforward explanations of each setting. If you're not quite sure what the whole about:config thing is all about, check out our top Firefox config tweaks.
