Environment: Conserve water and save money with the Navy shower

Trim down your utility bill and save gallons of water by taking Navy showers. As shown above, a Navy shower (invented by midshipmen with a limited fresh water supply) involves the following five steps:

1. turn on the water
2. immediately wet the body
3. turn off the water
4. soap up and scrub
5. turn the water back on and rinse off the soap

If you love taking a relaxing hot shower in the morning, you will hate the Navy shower. However, if you're constantly busting your hump to make it to the office on time, the Navy shower might be just what the doctor ordered. Besides saving money and getting you to the office on time, you can help save the environment every morning.
